  13.  I have a 1988 Honda Civic DX with 1.5 litre engine. My clutch is pretty
  14.  worn out and needs to be replaced. I have a friend who gave me a clutch
  15.  from an 88 civic, he told me that the car had 5000 km when it got scrapped.
  16.  However, I find that the clutch looks pretty thin, But I have no idea how
  17.  thick a clutch should be, I had never seen one until today. Can anyone tell
  18.  me how thick a clutch for my car should be??? That way I can mesure it
  19.  and see how used my spare clutch really is. Also is there any other way to
  20.  make sure the clutch is good? How about the pressure plate, he gave me that
  21.  also. Should I go ahead and get it installed?? I know a mechasnic who will
  22.  do for me for about $100 on his spare time.
