-
- i auditioned this transport last week as a replacement for my rotel 955
- to go with my bitwise musik system zero dac. it was a small subtle
- improvement that i noticed the most when i went back to the rotel
- after auditioning the cal. mostly it was just cleaner and there seemed
- to be no tradeoffs.
-
- digital cables had more of an impact on the sound quality than the
- difference between these 2 transports.
-
- i have had poor experiences with cal cd players in the past. what
- the scoop on reliability with this unit?
-
- what other transports have you auditioned? i would be interested in
- any comparative analysis on transports, since i am going to get one
- by christmas. :-)
-
- thanks,
