  11. That wasn't a flame...  that was Hell itself....

  14. It seems that someone has posted up the movie script we've been talking
  15. about and lamenting over recently.  
  16. While I can live with (and did myself) flamings of a script and brief
  17. descriptions of the plotline to justify the arguments, I have to object
  18. to that script posting too, in light of recent information that we have
  19. seen on the net.

  21. If that were indeed the genesis of what will hopefully become the
  22. Doctor Who Movie then I wouldn't be talking about this right now 
  23. as I'd say "Yes, post it, it sucked and we can't let it be made."
  24. However, BEFORE that happened, news came to us all that the script
  25. I talked had been rejected.  So why did this someone post the script? 
  26. It's a dead issue now; that isn't going to be the movie!
  27. Mr. Byrne was absolutely (and may I say very entertainingly) right in
  28. what he said when he mentioned the possible repurcussions this could
  29. have on the negotiations and financial backing.

  31. That movie is dead.  The movie being discussed now is much more faithful
  32. to the TV series, and as such, it deserves our support.

  34. So please, Mr Someone, don't post the rest of it.  Beating a dead horse
  35. will only pour blood over current negotiations.

  37. I should point out, however, that I still do not like that script even
  38. one little bit.  But as I said, that is now a moot point as it will
  39. never happen.
