- In article <1er2e2INNgg1@usenet.INS.CWRU.Edu> Scott D. Hurley
- asks about the quote near the end of _Battlefield_.
- Sylvester McCoy is speaking to Morgaine, the countdown is ticking:
-
- D: If this missile explodes, millions will die. _You_ will die.
- M: I will die with honor.
- D: All over the world, fools are poised, ready to let death fly.
- Machines of _death_, Morgaine, are ?screaming? from above.
- ?Of? light brighter than the sun. Not a war between armies,
- nor a war between nations, but just death, death gone mad.
- A child looks up into the sky, his eyes turn to cinders.
- No more tears, only ashes. Is this honor?! Is this war?!
- Are these the weapons you would use? Tell me!
- M: No.
- D: Then put a stop to it, Morgaine. End the madness!
-
- 'Screaming' sounds more like 'stringing'--could be 'streaming'.
- 'Of' really sounds like 'of', but could be 'a'.
