- As for DW being played by a woman, I think that raises some interesting
- possibilities, but if a Gallifrian could regenerate in the opposite sex, why
- would they have the terms "time-lord/time-lady?" This terminology may all be
- the fault of some 1960's writer for the BBC, but let's ignore that, let's
- suppose that some semblance of an identity remains after each regeneration
- (although even this idea seems to generate a lot of talk on this network).
- This is not to say that one's identity is determined by one's sex, it just
- seems that (at least genetically/biologocially if not sociologically) sex is
- determined by one's identity. Does that make any sense at all? Does the
- same connection between sex and identity hold for humans? Now there's a
- potentially hot question for you.
