- I would have some difficulty with this idea because of the fact that the
- Master and the Rani have both admitted that they were contempary students
- with the Doctor when he went by his original Gallifreyan name. So no I don't
- Think that the Doctor could be a contemparary of Rassilon, although I will
- credit the idea of his tardis having been used by Rassilon, the Doctor and
- others imply that the type 40 that he stole I mean borrowed had been
- decomisioned when he borrowed it. Some of Hartnells and Troughtons comments
- give the impression that he left Gallifrey very quickly and had no intention
- of ever returning.
