  26. - Why bother? YTV puts the show on at  ridiculous hour, and put commercials
  27. - in the broadcast. i don't know about you, but I'm certainly not going to
  28. - stay up all hours to edit commercials (school and work being just a
  29. - little more important), nor am I going to archive the show with
  30. - commercials present. Why not let YTV give Dr. Who up? It frees up the
  31. - rights for another station to pick it up, and they can hardly treat it in
  32. - a more slipshod manner than YTV has.

  34.   Ladies and Gentlemen, a miracle has just happened.  Warren has just said
  35. something I partially agree with.  Mind you, I may not be big on commercials,
  36. but its THOSE LATE TIME WHICH HAS ME UP IN STITCHES. To impress upon the
  37. netters of Canada, Michelle Lee, the person responible for shows at YTV told me
  38. "Despite the fact that the show DOES have a popular following, the ratings are
  39. low.  Everyone was videotaping the show during Prime Time."  Hence their
  40. 'justification' for  the last slot.  SO bad a justification, that when I
  41. questionned on obtained 'Tomb of the Cybermen', I was told fat chance.  YTV
  42. rational has got me, well what can I say.
  43.    As for YTV giving up DW, unless Canada picks up the SciFi channel, fat
  44. chance.  I certainly and not looking at the degraded presentaion of
  45. pseudo-'Doctor Who' as presented by WTVS and KSPS, in fact if I understand
  46. correctly now, by PBS.  "NEVER!! NEVER!! NEVER!!" I rather YTV over PBS anyday
  47. given the circumstances.  Hence, I just say let fans of the show in Canada
  48. write to YTV and indicate discard about the late hour time slot where the show
  49. can be found.
