- I have always heard that Marvel was pitching a "Human Torch" show around
- the networks about the same time, and so replaced the Torch with Herbie
- The Robot. The show was scrapped due to the cost of the effects involved
- in making the Torch falme on, and fly.
- Probably would've sucked too.
