- I just read a recent post which mentions that ADD kids are given
- stimulants and it triggered a memory of friends who let their young
- children (grade school) drink cola very close to bedtime. Both of these
- seem like the opposite of what I would naturally do because caffiene makes
- me more wired. If I have caffiene anytime after 3pm I have trouble
- sleeping! But maybe kids react differently, or maybe these kids are used
- to it and are less affected. (or maybe I don't understand ADD)
-
- We certainly are advised not to injest much during pregnancy, and
- lactation. So it's clear what medicine thinks about it for very young
- people. But does that change as they turn into young people.
-
- Does anyone have any experience or scientific evidence about caffiene and
- kids?
- Please email and I'll summarize if there is enough interest.
