- Well my 6+ month old is now eating three meals of solid food a
- day -- mostly cereal in the a.m., veg's and fruits in the
- afternoon and something (lately, even from what we're eating,
- I just grind it for him to make it mushy and he loves it). He
- loves his solids. I wouldn't dream of not giving him one of
- them... he wouldn't let me either. My question has to do
- with how often you folks out there who are still nursing your
- babies do once they are eating regularly?
-
- Right now, he nurses first thing in the morning then eats
- breakfast, he takes a bottle of expressed milk mid-morning
- and then nurses when I come home around 12:30 or 1:00 then
- eats lunch. He will nurse again at about 5:00 or so then
- eats dinner and nurses again before going to be at about
- 9:00 p.m. Lately, he has not been finishing the bottle
- of milk I leave for him, usually about 6 oz's. I'm just
- wondering if he's getting enough milk. As there is no
- way to guage exactly how much he is getting, I wondered
- if there was a set number of nursing sessions moms are
- having with their babies who are eating regularly?
-
- Any thoughts?

- Thanks,
