- I just checked, and I found that I had saved this from someone else's
- posting.
-
- The song is also in _Rise_Up_Singing_, along with lots of other songs.
- This book should probably be in a list of required books for most parents
- and anyone else who might want to know the words to this song or any one
- of several hundred other songs that we end up asking "How do the words go?".
-
- Anyway, here's the song.

-
- If you go down to the woods today, you're in for a big surprise
- If you go down to the woods today, you'd better go in disguise
- 'Cause every bear that ever there was will gather there for certain because
- Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic.
-
- If you go down to the woods today, you'd better not go alone
- It's lovely down in the woods today, but safer to stay at home
- 'Cause every bear...
-
- Every Teddy Bear who's been good is sure of a treat today.
- There's lots of wonderful things to eat and plenty of games to play.
- Beneath the trees where nobody sees, they'll hide & seek as long as they
- please
- 'Cause that's the way the Teddy Bears like to picnic.
-
- BRIDGE:
-
- It's picnic time for Teddy Bears
- The little teddy bears are having a wonderful time today
- Watch them, catch them unawares
- And see them picnic on their holiday
- See them gaily gad about, they love to play and shout
- They never have any cares.
- At 6 O'Clock their mommies & daddies will take them home to bed
- 'Cause they're tired little teddy bears.
-
-
-
- Hope that helps...

- There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension
- as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between
- light and shadow, between science and superstition. And it lies between the pit
- of Man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of
- imagination -- it is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".
