- I used to have a terrible incline press - in the region of 85lbs or so.
- What vastly improved it - was lots of strict military presses. But even then
- my incline max is about 20lbs less than my flat. From what I've seen of
- others at the gym, this is quite normal. My advice is - do more military
- presses and dumble presses to build the shoulders and stay light on the
- inclines or cut them out altogether for a while and replace them with
- incline dumbel presses. After 4-6 weeks try again, undoubtedly (provided
- you are resting and eating well) it will go up significantly.
