- I have a Eureka. It's worth what I paid (which isn't much). I'm not
- familiar with model names; mine is an upright. It works very well on
- carpet and is useless on anything else.
-
- I have owned two GE washers and currently still have one. I bought one
- used and the other came with the house. You can't kill them. Should I
- ever need a new one, it'll be another GE.
-
- I have gotten good value from Westinghouse dryers and wouldn't hesitate
- to buy another.
-
- My parents had several Maytag appliances, by the way. Although they do
- last quite some time, the Maytag repairman was able to pay his rent. I
- think they're a little overrated myself.
