- I know the difference. I misused the term buyer's agent above. I
- meant "the agent that furnishes the buyer." Sorry for the confusion.

- True, except that currently, the most common payment arrangement for a
- buyer's agent is identical to the case of a selling agent who furnishes
- a buyer, ie, they split the listing agent's fee. As you point out, it
- is a matter of perspective as to exactly who is paying whom.

- Actually, that is the main impetus behind the buyer's agent movement.
- Buyers are only beginning to realize that the agent driving them around
- every weekend and being oh so helpful in finding that perfect home is
- legally obligated to fleece them.
