  11.  Before you do it yourself get a bid (or 3) from insulation contractors.
  12.  You might also check w/PG&E and see if there are any rebates. I have 
  13.  found that contractors can do insulation installed for what you can buy
  14.  the stuff for. Also if there are rebate from Pg&e they probably won't 
  15.  honor them for doityourself.
  16.   This is my expirirence with contrating a new home. Retrofitting an existing
