- I have heard that Thinsulate and Quallofil are so effective because they have
- more surface area and thus trap more air (?). I assume what this really means
- is that they are more effective at reducing convection. SOOO ... packing more
- FG into that stud space probably helps but obviously at some point it is no
- longer cost effective. Where this occurs is a function of your heating costs
- so it varies by location, heating unit, etc., etc.
