  26. One piece of advice. When I was shopping for mine, I checked all the
  27. discount places. I wanted a slide-in or drop in range and oven unit,
  28. and they were scarce and expensive. Finally I started checking little
  29. neighborhood appliance dealers. The second one I tried was able to order
  30. exactly what I wanted from GE for a little more than $400. The least
  31. expensive "discount" store unit was a Caloric (not my idea of quality)
  32. and was priced at over $600.
