Hi there TAM, here's a quick quote...
TO> Thanks for sending me a message. It's always nice to hear
TO> from fellow trekkers - that's right, you've found a
TO> die hard. Let's see, I've gone to every convention
Great! A fellow trekkie. I'm also a die hard, but in different areas.
TO> die hard. Let's see, I've gone to every convention
TO> in Denver (except two) since I was in seventh grade
TO> and last summer I went on a Star Trek Cruise. You
TO> see, I lucked out by having trekkie parents who
TO> don't mind taking a vacation exclusively for Star
TO> Trek. Now you know someone who has hung out at a
TO> bar with Wil Wheation (who is, by the way, a jerk.)
That musta been wailin'. There are no conventions up here (Shatner and co, not to mention Stewart and co. would probably find it too cold.) So, Wheaton's a jerk, eh? Well, thats what they get for turning a teenager into a super genuis who haoppened to pilot the most advanced flagship in the federation. (grin) what a stupid idea.
TO> Now I cannot watch an episode of ST:TNG that he is
TO> in without laughing because I have a perfect
TO> picture of him stumbling around with a tequila
TO> shooter talking in this really bad Jamaican accent.
I would have killed to see a picture of that. (and I thought I was bad on tequila.)
TO> Oh well, enough of my Star Trek gloating.
TO> I read most kinds of sci-fi including the "weird"
TO> stuff like Cyberpunk, but some of the new stuff I
TO> don't care for. Let me know if you read any good
TO> stuff -- right now my forte is femininst sci-fi.
I think Star Trek is the best. BUt I like ST and ST:TNG for different reasons. I like the idea of trek more than the actual shows and movies (although they were very good.) I like reading the books, the manuals, building the models, and just let my imagination soar through the galaxy. (thats why I like the Role Playing Game, and any computer games too.) Cyberpunk isnt bad. I also like the sci-fi/fantasy mixes. (have you ever read shadowrun? Or heard of a RIFTS role-playing-game?)
TO> Oh, about appearance - let's see. This is hard. I'm about
TO> 5'4", long, long, dark blonde hair and glasses. My
TO> only other significant feature is my pierced nose -
TO> but don't let that scare you away.
After being through this galaxy a number of times (grin) Nothing scares me away easily. So what if you have a pierced nose. As long as adds to your appearance and character, who cares? HOw old are you anyway? I'm 18 myself (just old enough to get into the bars in alberta. about 45 mins drive from here) Well, write me back soon.
Boldly going where no man has gone before...

I have no idea where woman has gone before, but I think she made a left when I made a right at alpha centauri.
