- This is not entirely true. If I build an executable on a VMS 5.x system, I
- cannot run it on my VMS 4.7 system. But I do believe that an executable which
- runs on a VMS 4.7 system will also run on VMS 5.x. So if you choose to
- distribute the emacs.exe file, make sure its runs under VMS 4.7.
