  14. Could some kind soul tell me how I would change the From: field in
  15. the header? My company has one and only one address for employees --
  16. It is fixed, and is not related to what machine we post from. However
  17. whenever I post with gnus, it makes my From: address equal to the 
  18. machine I am posting from -- Any mail people send to this address
  19. will be bounced! since it is not the official company address. *sigh*

  21. There are many lisp-files in my gnews directory, ie .el files and .elc
  22. files. I have changed these but I cannot figure out for certain which
  23. files are being used since not all of my changes show up as expected.
  24. And so far, I have been unable to correct this From: field issue.
  25. (As one can see by reading this post.) Does something have to be
  26. recompiled to get changed?

  28. I really want to fix this problem -- It is very annoying to ask for
  29. help and then have people complain that when the responded, all their
  30. mail was bounced back. Any help would be much appreciated.
