  13. I've been having some really weird problems with gnus these last few
  14. days; there have been three things that are bugging me.

  16. 1 - It won't let me remove some newsgroups from my newsgroup list. I
  17. use C-k in the *Newsgroups* buffer and it seems to work fine, but the
  18. next time Iun gnus those damn groups are back again. Not all groups,
  19. just about 15 or so, always the same groups (alt.adoption is one of
  20. them, for example).

  22. 2 - Used to be that when I was reading articles, with the *Subject*
  23. buffer in the top window and the articles appearing in the bottome
  24. window, if I hit c it would ask "are you sure you want to mark
  25. everything as read (y or n)" (or something similar), I would hit y and
  26. it would send me back to the *Newsgroups* buffer. Now when I do that
  27. it will go to the next newsgroup, fetch those articles and I'll never
  28. go back to the newsgroups buffer.

  30. 3 - When manuvering around the articles it now will follow a thread
  31. and then pop back up to the first unread message in the group, if I
  32. just keep hitting the space bar. It used to just move down the list in
  33. order and I could skip articles I didn't want to read. Now if I do
  34. that it runs back up there when I'm not paying attention and makes me
  35. read them too! I used to have to follow threads with C-M-n.

  37. I have been making a lot of changes to various emacs things, but not
  38. to gnus. I've looked at the manual and nothing is leaping out at me.
  39. Any help?
