  30. | The IPC has a bwtwo mono framebuffer on its motherboard.  Colour IPCs
  31. | have an additional cgthree SBus board (or GX I suppose) for the colour
  32. | monitor.  MIT X will use all the framebuffers it finds, so xdpyinfo
  33. | reports two `screens' but if you only have one physical monitor you
  34. | obviously only have one physical screen.  The IPC is not like the 4/110
  35. | (I think), which had a mono overlay plane that could be displayed on
  36. | the same monitor as the colour output.  Borrow a mono monitor from
  37. | someone and plug it into the other video connector on the back of the
  38. | IPC and all should become clear.
