- How can it happen? What can I do.
-
- Description:
- Sun 630 mp , IPX{SunOS 4.1.2, 4.1.1, 4.1.3} OW3.0, and HDS XTERM.
- running the olwm from the sun as a client.
-
- I Have a large HOME BUILT X program (4.5 meg) that
- runs under OW3.0 on my IPX or 630MP fine. However, If
- I fire-up XDM on either machien and connect via my Xterm
- this same binary CORE DUMP via (SEGMENT - VIOLATION).
-
- Debug indicates that this program segVs on the very first line
- of C code no matter what that line of code may be. It has
- been compiled with both static and non-static options under
- my SUN ANSI C copmiler.
-
- How is this possible? Is there something about XDM
- that would cause this. I have a companion program
- that is about half the size of this one, but uses
- almost the same forms and utilities written for the
- program.
