  12. I received several responses to my question about getting psfig and epsf
  13. macros to work correctly with Textures on a Macintosh.  Thanks to Jacques
  14. Distler, Charles Lind, Jim Humphreys, Martti Nikunen, Jeffrey Kantor, 
  15. Jon Monsarrat, and Geoffrey Tobin for their help and suggestions.

  17. For epsf, Jacques Distler has rewritten the macros so they work with Textures.
  18. It worked perfectly for me.  With his permission, I'll be happy to mail this
  19. version to anyone who wants it, or post it if there's enough interest.

  21. For psfig, there's also a Textures version which I obtained from Blue Sky
  22. Research.  The tech support person I spoke with (Becky) was very helpful,
  23. and the macros also worked fine.  (They also sent me a version of epsf,
  24. but it isn't Jacques' version and I haven't tried it.)

  26. Finally, a couple of people told me about a package called psbox that is
  27. similar to psfig but more portable.  I didn't find this on the few ftp sites
  28. I browsed, but it sounds like another good solution.
