- I received several responses to my question about getting psfig and epsf
- macros to work correctly with Textures on a Macintosh. Thanks to Jacques
- Distler, Charles Lind, Jim Humphreys, Martti Nikunen, Jeffrey Kantor,
- Jon Monsarrat, and Geoffrey Tobin for their help and suggestions.
-
- For epsf, Jacques Distler has rewritten the macros so they work with Textures.
- It worked perfectly for me. With his permission, I'll be happy to mail this
- version to anyone who wants it, or post it if there's enough interest.
-
- For psfig, there's also a Textures version which I obtained from Blue Sky
- Research. The tech support person I spoke with (Becky) was very helpful,
- and the macros also worked fine. (They also sent me a version of epsf,
- but it isn't Jacques' version and I haven't tried it.)
-
- Finally, a couple of people told me about a package called psbox that is
- similar to psfig but more portable. I didn't find this on the few ftp sites
- I browsed, but it sounds like another good solution.
