- There doesn't seem to be a PD TeX package available that runs under
- Windows on a PC, so I was considering trying to get the C source and
- compiling it myself. Borland Turbo C allows one to compile standard
- character based programs to run under Windows, usually without any
- modification. Has anyone else tried this? Is the C version of the
- source freely available, or will I need to get the WEB version,
- convert it to pascal, and then into C? All I really need are is a
- basic installation with the plain and LaTeX styles; I can use another
- system for printing and font generation. Anyway, I would greatly
- appreciate any advice; please e-mail and I'll post a summary if I can
- actually get it working.
