- I am seeking a modified version of the \cite macro, which enables
- citations of the form:
- [Glotz: 179-181, Frog: 18-19, Toad 42]
- where:
- a. The page numbers appear as text in the \cite, so that several citations
- can point to the same bibliographic entry, and avoid the dreaded
- ibid disease.
-
- Vanilla LaTeX supports text, but only for a single entry, it appears.
- If I use multiple \cite entries, I get brackets rather than commas
- between entries.
-
- b. Is there a way to get the citations to break in mid-citation? Two-
- column format stuff looks lousy because of LaTeX apparent refusal
- to break a citation across two lines.
-
- c. Is there a simple way (other than modifying the \bibitem macro) to
- replace the brackets with some other character, such as nothing?
-
- THanks. Bob
-
- ps: Still seeking a source for .ps files of Egyptian heirogryphics.
