- In the TeXbook, Knuth explains how to make long rightrarrows, hook right
- arrows, etc. In Exercise 18.46, he shows how to make some commutative diagrams.
- However, it is not clear how to adapt what he does to making diagonal
- hookarrows and long diagonal hookarrows or long nearrows, for that matter.

- I work exclusively with Plain TeX and that is where I want to accomplish this.
- More generally, I would be interested in any techniques for making complicated
- commutative diagrams in Plain TeX. I am already aware of how to use packages
- that do this in LateX. I want to do it in Plain TeX.
