-
- This is an available product. You can order it through your local
- branch sales office.
-
- From memory here, any release after and including 1.0.2 supports the U6000/60.
-
- The O/S is based upon the SVR4.0/MP from the MP consortium (of which
- UNISYS is a member).
-
- The 1.0.2 release is V1 MP based, the 1.1 release onwards is V2 MP based.
-
- The O/S is synchronised with and compatible with the U6000/15/35/60/65
- systems.
-
- I believe the current marketing practice bundles the C dev system with
- the O/S product in release 1.1 onwards. The TCP/IP/NFS stuff is bundled
- in all releases.
-
- The best thing to do is order a copy of the Software Release Announcement
- document from your local sales rep so you can check the exact release
- numbers and the software products that are also supported, from the
- VAP software suite. This should tell you which plug in H/W and S/W
- components are supported etc.
-
- Prices of the O/S and support contracts need to be obtained locally
- of course.
