  16. I have a Sparcstation II with a floppy drive. I often use the floppy
  17. to transfer files between the Sun and non-networked PC's. But someday,
  18. I started getting error messages when I tried to mount the floppy.

  20. The error is:

  22. mount_pcfs: /dev/fd0 on /pcfs type pcfs: I/O error
  23. mount: giving up on:
  24.    /pcfs

  28. I ran sundiag sucessfully on the drive, so it doesn't seem to be a 
  29. hardware problem. Does anybody have any clue on what is causing this
  30. and on the way to fix it?
