- Hi,
-
- I have a Sparcstation II with a floppy drive. I often use the floppy
- to transfer files between the Sun and non-networked PC's. But someday,
- I started getting error messages when I tried to mount the floppy.
-
- The error is:
-
- mount_pcfs: /dev/fd0 on /pcfs type pcfs: I/O error
- mount: giving up on:
- /pcfs
-
-
-
- I ran sundiag sucessfully on the drive, so it doesn't seem to be a
- hardware problem. Does anybody have any clue on what is causing this
- and on the way to fix it?
-
- thanks in advance,
-
- Boudi
