  32. Sun also told the world that they were committed to three lines -- 680X0,
  33. 386, and SPARC.

  35. They told us they'd never abandon the techies.  Now the techies pay extra
  36. for the C compiler they need, but get no discount if they don't want OW.
  37. And I see now that display PostScript will be standard bundled.  Gotta 
  38. pay for that, you techies.

  40. They told us the migration would be done in 18 months, and old code would
  41. continue to work.

  43. They charge hefty licence fees for OS software upgraded, but I will bet
  44. you $100.00 today that when non-Sun OSs come out for their workstations,
  45. you will not be able to get $1 off of a workstation if you try to buy
  46. it without the OS.
