- I have a problem with a sparc2 on our network. When it's rebooted
- the sendmail process is started up but it doesn't seem to actually
- work. When I send mail to a person on this machine the server routes
- it correctly to the system, but it never gets out of the local mail
- queue. To further confound matters, if I simply kill the sendmail
- process and restart it, it works! Seems like something fishy is
- going on with the timing of when the process is started in rc.local,
- but I can't figure out what. The rc.local file is basically the same
- as any other machine on the net, except it starts up a little snmp
- process at the end (well past the sendmail invocation).
-
- Any help I can get on where to look next would be greatly appreciated!

- Thanks,
