  19. David Haight of Tektronix mentioned both CAI and upgrading your 93D to
  20. a 93PXi.

  22. One thing he did not mention is SGI's Impressario product, which
  23. includes a filter to convert from PostScript to a number of bitmap
  24. formats.  Impressario 1.0 does not directly support the 93D, but with
  25. TekPhaser it does support the 94SX and 94DX.

  27. The 'fromps' filter you ask about is not trivial, as David mentioned:
  28. if it were Adobe would be out of business quickly.  Impressario,
  29. however, provides a simple command-line filter for converting from
  30. Color PostScript to several bitmap formats.
