- Just to let you know that I'm following up several suggestions that
- were made. The most frequent one being - do it in C it isn't that bad.
- Well I agree it isn't, but I did want to avoid that avenue if I could.
- Other suggestions revolve around keeping the port open. (wouldn't ya
- know it there's a command called keepopen /usr/lbin/keepopen to be
- exact?) This seems to be the key. Before when I was doing sttys none
- of the parameters were sticking now after running keepopen they seem
- to be. I still have a lot of hints to verify here, but I thought at
- least I'd thank you all for the input. When I get it verified I'll
- followup with the details. And thanks again. :-)
