  24. I am having a problem using cu on an exl 3xx machine.  Every time I connect to another system, the
  25. exl connects, and then immediately disconnects.  I usually get as far as seeing the login prompt on
  26. the other machine before the thing disconnects.

  28. This box is at 5.3.2 unix using one of the older 8 line comms boards.  I am (for now) using one of
  29. the standard cables and a null modem until the modem cable that I want comes in.
  30. I have set up the Devices file for a Hayes compatible modem, as that's what I have (It's a US Robotics
  31. 2400 modem, and the terminal file is set up correctly for an outbound modem.

  33. I have set up the modem keeping up CD and DTR, and the silly thing still disconnects.
