- are $399 (list $545) for the 256KB Psion 3,
- and $369 (list $550) for the 512KB HP-95LX, 1MB model $589 (list $799)

- I doubt HP and Psion consult with each other on pricing :-). Companies
- are often forced, either by the market, or by governments to have much
- different prices in different countries. Since Psion is a much smaller
- company that HP, it could be that HP has the kind of presence in
- Australia that it can offer lower prices. For example, the HP-95LX
- units sold in Australia may be made somewhere in Asia, while Psion
- units may only be made in the UK. This means both higher shipper and
- manufacturing costs.
