- Summary: Does anyone have any experience with the Stedi-LANding system?

- Thanks to all who responded to my request for UPS info. I have gathered info
- from several manufacturers.
-
- However, one manufacturer (StediWatt) stands out due to NeXT-specific
- monitoring software (Stedi-LANding) and VERY fast switching (20 microseconds)
- in its stand-by system. They also provide built-in phone line surge protection
- and a surge-protected (but not uniterruptible power) outlet for an accessory
- like a laser printer. These seem to be nice (and rather unique) features.
-
- I'd like to buy from these guys because they are NeXT developers and seem to be
- one of the only (possibly, the only) UPS manufacturers to offer a NeXTSTEP app
- that monitors the UPS and the state of line power, etc. However, they aren't
- the least expensive system, so I don't want to buy something that's got known
- problems (I assume StediWatt isn't a cover for Neuron :-)
-
- So I'd like to hear of any pros and cons of the Stedi-LANding system.
-
- Thanks
