- Hi netters,
-
- I have a rather annoying problem with my Quadra 950. Somethimes when I am doing
- something (actually anything at all), the systems freezes for a while and this
- freeze could last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. I couldn't for
- the life of me figure out what is causing this. IT IS VERY ANNOYING !! Arrgh !
- :-@
-
- Anybody have any idea what's going on ? Is it because of the O40 instruction
- cache or is it because of the video card. Here is the current configuration of
- my system.
-
- Macintosh Quadra 950 16MB RAM 230MB HD
- RasterOps 24XLi with 16MB RAM on board with Quickdraw acceleration ON.
- RasterOps accelerator init
- MacTCP 1.1
- System 7.0.1 Tuned
- Cache Switch Control Panel
- QuickTime 1.5
-
- I have tried with non-system inits off and RasterOps Accelerator init running
- but it doesn't seem to work. I'll appreciate it if anybody could tell me what
- the problem is or the probable cause of the problem is. Is it something stupid
- that I did or what ? Whatever it is, it is eluding me.
-
- Thanks.
