- I tried this for a while in our lab - it didn't work too well.

- 1) If (while in Icon or Small Icon view) you pressed the first letter of the
- folder which contains the System Folder, that folder would be selected, and
- you could open it using Command-O.

- 2) If you are in View by Kind,Date,etc, the folder will still show, and you
- can double-click on the kind (folder) or Last Modified date or click on the
- triangle to see the contents.

- Many mac-lab managers need a simple, password-protected System Folder.
- Something easy to install, and INIT perhaps. When you open the System Folder,
- it prompts you for a password before opening. When I get my copy of Think C
- and a semester of studying done, maybe I'll have something :-).
