- Summary: How do I look at High Sierra CD-ROMs using a non-Apple drive?
-
-
- Does anyone know where to get software which allows access to non-Macintosh
- format CDs? I've got Apple's CD ROM driver 4.0 installed (as well as all the
- "Foreign File Access" INITs) and a non-Apple CD ROM drive (a Sony, for use
- with our Solbourne servers). If I connect the CD ROM to a Mac I can mount
- Macintosh format CDs just fine but can't get to High Sierra format CD ROMs
- except say, through the Norton Utilities. Is there a "generic" CD ROM
- driver around somewhere, or am I fundamentally misunderstanding how to access
- data on "generic" CD ROMs?
