  14. I posted this message a few days ago without a single response, so I
  15. am posting again.  The subject is much clearer this time.  I have
  16. tried lots of thing on this and am still having problems. HELP!

  20. Last week I purchased a brand new Maxtor 7080SCS hard drive and I am
  21. trying to interface it to our Mac+.  The drive is 80.7 meg, 32k buffered,
  22. SCSI hard drive.  I am trying to use it as a second external drive,
  23. co-connected with our primary drive, a Jasmine DirectDrive 40.

  25. So far I have tried every format & install program I could find on it.
  26. I have also tried things like SCSI Spy, SCSI Evaluator, and SCSI
  27. Probe.  The programs that just look at the drive have no problem
  28. finding the drive, but the format/install programs don't seem to see
  29. it at all.

  31. I would appreciate any input or suggestion I can get.  You can e-mail

  35. I can also send you a copy of the SCSI Spy output file on the drive
  36. if that will help figure this out.
