- Also, not everyone wants or needs the power of a PowerPC, esp.
- if the lowend Macs are priced very competitively. Remember the
- slogan, "The computer for the rest of us"? The allure of the
- Mac was its ease of use and elegant interface; software
- installation was a snap. The more complex the system, the more
- complex the maintenance. I think the vast majority of home
- users aren't interested in that (unless, of course, it's for
- that absolutely amazing arcade like game , running on multiple
- monitors, ... :) )
