- Not _positive_ what the problem was, but if you read the owner's
- manual, it says that you need to charge the battery before using it,
- and (at least for the PB160/180, I'm not positive this applies to the
- Duos, but it makes sense) that the machine will refuse to start up if
- the battery voltage is too low. So, I suggest (in the future) you
- read the 'farfegneugen' manual, & consider what the possible problems
- are before ranting & raving to the net.

- The 'symptoms' you describe sound like the Duo had just begun to take
- a charge when you turned it on again, & so continued to 'flake out' as
- far as the power goes...
