- The IIvx onboard video is not capable of driving an Apple 16" display.
- You can drive a 3rd party 16" display, but you won't get any higher
- resolution than 640 x 480 (i.e., the standard Mac 13" display resolution).
- The limitation is inherent in the IIvx's video timing generator hardware,
- so even though you theoretically have enough VRAM to drive a 16" display
- at 832 x 624 (Apple's 16" display resolution) the IIvx hardware can't
- generate the video timing signals needed to do so.
