- Well, you could always take the floppy out of the drive :)

- But seriously, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if you set the external
- SCSI drive's SCSI ID to 2, the Mac will wait for 20 seconds before trying to
- boot any further. Apple did this so you can hook the SCSI LaserWriters up to
- your Mac. Try it out. If it doesn't work, try what Debora Offer(s) [:-)] and
- that is to turn on the external drive, then the Macintosh.
