  21.  But seriously, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if you set the external
  22.  SCSI drive's SCSI ID to 2, the Mac will wait for 20 seconds before trying to
  23.  boot any further. Apple did this so you can hook the SCSI LaserWriters up to
  24.  your Mac. Try it out. If it doesn't work, try what Debora Offer(s) [:-)] and
  25.  that is to turn on the external drive, then the Macintosh.
