- Hello,
-
- I am setting up a AppleShare file server. The Server will
- be placed on the EtherNet side of my localtalk/EtherTalk
- network.
-
- I will use 17 MB of M in the SI and 20 MN RAM in the SE/30
- I will use a Maxtor LXT340s drive in either machine.
-
- On the SI I will use a TechWorks ethernet card with the SONICS
- chip set (should do buss mastering on the SI).
-
- I would use a Asante card for the SE/30 on the SE/30.
-
- Applecation other than Appleshare would be for a 4D-Server,
- network Fax, etc.
-
- Anyone know which would be faster for Appleshare?
