  21. I was thinking about doing the exact same thing with a Powerbook Duo.
  22. Since the 120MB versions seem to be in short supply and Apple is
  23. charging an arm and a leg for the 120MB drive anyway, it seems like it
  24. might be a good idea to just buy the 80MB version and a third party
  25. external 120MB Quantum GO drive and swap the two drive mechanisms.
  26. As Mr. Smith says, in the end you get an external 80MB drive for about $200.

  28. The question is: Will just any 2.5" drive fit in the Duos?  If I buy a
  29. Quantum GO 120 external from APS will I have any trouble swapping the
  30. Quantum mechanism into the Duo?
