- If you want to try out my solution to this problem, check out my
- hand-built Export Dialog. You can find it on ftp.scri.fsu.edu in the
- directory /pub/4d. This is one dialog/one procedure solution to the
- question "Why can't I call the built-in 4D Export dialog from the
- language?"
-
- My dialog gives you a choice of any file in the database, any exportable
- field in the selected file, and your own ordering for fields. I also
- allow the user to Display the selected records and Search for a new set
- of records.
-
- I'm playing around with adding an Import option to the dialog, and will
- send it up to ftp.scri.fsu.edu when I've got it done.
