- I don't know about the drag and drop converters, but many of the Macintosh
- TEXT editors (not word processors) have the option to filter line feeds
- when saving a file and will automatically convert from other formats to Mac
- format when reading in a file. My understanding is that line feeds are
- really the only difference between text files on the two platforms. The
- text editors could then do the conversion if needed. If all you what to do
- is edit these files, you could just keep the files in PC format, and have
- the text editor convert them to Mac format when reading and back to PC
- format when saving.

- My recommendation for a text editor is bbedit. It is available in info-mac
- at sumex-aim.stanford.edu. For more complexity on the order of emacs there
- is alpha also available from sumex.
