- I got a mail-order offer for TaxCut from MECA (the Managing Your Money
- folks) and decided to take them up on it. I just got the "headstart"
- version over the weekend, haven't gotten it installed yet, but did scan
- through the manual. If the software lives up to the manual, I'll be happy.
-
- This is a Mac version of a DOS product, but it looks like they've done as
- good a job on the port as they did with MYM. From a quick perusal of the
- manual, it doesn't look like a DOS application on a Mac screen, unlike what
- ChipSoft did to (formerly very nice) MacInTax.
-
- Warning - MECA has only ported a few state versions (including California,
- thankfully) to the Mac thus far. That may be a problem for users in some
- states.
