  23. I got a mail-order offer for TaxCut from MECA (the Managing Your Money
  24. folks) and decided to take them up on it. I just got the "headstart"
  25. version over the weekend, haven't gotten it installed yet, but did scan
  26. through the manual. If the software lives up to the manual, I'll be happy.

  28. This is a Mac version of a DOS product, but it looks like they've done as
  29. good a job on the port as they did with MYM. From a quick perusal of the
  30. manual, it doesn't look like a DOS application on a Mac screen, unlike what
  31. ChipSoft did to (formerly very nice) MacInTax.

  33. Warning - MECA has only ported a few state versions (including California,
  34. thankfully) to the Mac thus far. That may be a problem for users in some
  35. states.
