  16. The "bad or missing command interpretor" message means that the file 
  17. COMMAND.COM in the root directory of your hard drive is either missing 
  18. or corrupt.  If your hard drive is C:, then you'd want to copy 
  19. COMMAND.COM from a bootable floppy diskette into your hard drive's root 
  20. directory, C:\.

  22. Assuming that your boot floppy is in Drive A:, the command you'd punch 
  23. in is:

  25.         COPY A:\COMMAND.COM C:\ /V
  26.  
  27. That should solve the problem.  Let me know if it doesn't work.
